What are the differences between asbestos and mesothelioma?

Development of mesothelioma and asbestosis is due to inhalation of asbestos fibers by people. These fibers are very minute in size. Though the diseases share similarity among them but there are significant differences in the ways the disease are treated.

When talking about asbestosis vs mesothelioma, one of the major differences between both the diseases is that mesothelioma is a form of cancer. Asbestosis, on the other hand, is a type of respiratory trouble that makes it problematic for a person to breathe properly.
